Bathtub 160
At 160 cm, ideal for a small or medium bathroom, the 160 cm bath optimises space without sacrificing comfort. Available as a freestanding, back-to-wall or corner version, depending on your project.
Every tub is made from acrylic, a material that resists knocks and scratches, is lightweight and easy to maintain. Available in white, grey or black depending on the model.
Every Spalina model comes with a 2-year guarantee and is delivered free within 6 working days across most of Europe (a surcharge may apply for island delivery).
160 cm bath: a good balance of size and comfort
Neither too large nor too small, a 160 cm bath suits both a single person and a family, while leaving room for other bathroom fixtures (vanity unit, toilet, heating).
3 available configurations
This range includes three positioning types at 160 cm: the freestanding bath, fully open, for maximum design impact; the back-to-wall version, resting against a wall to save space; and the corner version, which makes use of a room corner to optimise available space.
A material built to last
All our 160 cm baths are made from acrylic. This material is highly resistant to knocks, scratches and everyday wear, without fading over time. Its smooth, non-porous surface also makes day-to-day maintenance easier.
Choosing the right 160 cm bath
Before buying, measure the available space precisely, taking into account walls, corners and other existing fixtures. The choice of finish (white, grey or black) should then match the rest of your decor.

Any questions?
Which bath is the most comfortable ?
There is no universal answer — comfort depends on your height, how you use the bath, and the space available. That said, several criteria make a real difference : interior length, basin depth, backrest shape and material.
For length, allow at least 170 cm if you are 5'9" or taller — our 170 cm baths and 180 cm baths allow full immersion. For depth, freestanding oval baths are generally deeper than standard built-in models. For massage, a whirlpool bath adds an incomparable relaxation dimension — toning water jets or enveloping air bubbles depending on the system chosen. For two people, our 2-person baths offer generous space with moulded ergonomic seating.
In all cases, the acrylic used in all Spalina baths guarantees a soft touch and excellent heat retention — two factors that extend the pleasure of your bath.
What guarantees does Spalina offer ?
All Spalina baths come with a 2-year warranty against manufacturing and conformity defects. This warranty covers parts and labour in the event of a proven defect. Our after-sales service is available 5d/7 to answer any technical or commercial questions after receipt.
For whirlpool baths, every model is tested for 4 hours in water before dispatch — a systematic step in our specifications that guarantees the correct operation of the entire hydraulic and electrical system before the bath leaves our warehouse.
Spalina is a French brand founded in 2003, specialising in acrylic baths, with over 60,000 baths delivered. For any after-sales enquiry, contact us at hello@spalina.fr or via our contact form.
Which baths are recommended for small spaces ?
For a small bathroom, the choice of bath depends above all on the layout of your space and the location of your plumbing. Several solutions exist to enjoy a real bath without sacrificing circulation.
In a corner : a corner bath fits into an unused corner and frees up the centre of the room. The Capri 150 (right or left) is our most compact model in this configuration, from 879€.
Wall-mounted : a semi-freestanding bath offers the look of a freestanding model with a smaller footprint. The Mint 150 and Naos 150 measure 150x75 cm — our most compact references in this range.
Freestanding : if you have at least 7 m², our 150 cm freestanding baths such as the Kelly 150 or Loona 150 offer a great balance between design and space saving. For compact whirlpools, the Maldives Jets (135x135 cm) is our smallest whirlpool model. All delivered free of charge within 6 working days, 2-year warranty.
What size bath for your height ?
Bath length is the number one criterion. As a general rule, choose a bath whose interior length is at least 10 cm greater than your height, so you can lie down comfortably without bending your knees.
For someone up to 160 cm : a 150 cm bath is more than sufficient — our Kelly 150 or Mint 150 models are ideal.
For 160 cm to 170 cm : a 160 cm bath is optimal — the Capri 160 or Mint 160 are a perfect fit.
For 170 cm to 180 cm : go for a 170 cm model — our oval freestanding baths offer optimal immersion at this length.
For 180 cm and above : choose a 180 cm bath straight away — a few extra centimetres make a real difference for your legs.
For width, allow at least 75 cm for a comfortable soak ; 80 cm or more if you like to really spread out. All Spalina baths are delivered free of charge within 6 working days, 2-year warranty.
How to design a small bathroom with a freestanding bath ?
Installing a freestanding bath in a small bathroom is perfectly possible, as long as you choose the right format and optimise the layout. Here are the key rules.
Choose the right format : for a bathroom of 5 to 7 m², go for 150 cm models such as the Kelly 150 or the Loona 150. The Loom 2.0 (130x130 cm, round) is our most compact model — its circular format means it fits in almost any space.
Respect clearances : allow at least 60 cm of free space on each side of the bath for circulation and access to the taps. If this is not possible on one side, a semi-freestanding bath will be more suitable — it leans against a wall, saving space while keeping the freestanding look.
Optimise the space : position the bath along the main axis of the room or at a diagonal to create a sense of volume. Avoid bulky furniture nearby. A corner bath such as the Capri 150 is also an excellent alternative for small spaces — it fits into a corner and frees up the centre of the bathroom.
What bath size for someone 160 cm tall ?
For someone 160 cm tall, a 150 cm corner bath already allows comfortable immersion in a semi-reclined position, with knees slightly bent. To lie down fully without bending your legs, go for a 160 cm model instead — it is the interior length that matters, not the overall panel length.
At Spalina, the Capri 150 (right or left) is our best-suited corner reference for this height, offering an excellent balance between comfort and space saving. If you have a little more room, the Capri 160 offers similar comfort with 10 cm more.
The final choice also depends on use : for a longer, relaxing soak, choose the maximum length your bathroom allows.
