White bathtub

A timeless, bright colour, white fits into any bathroom style and visually enlarges the space. Spalina offers white baths in every configuration: freestanding, back-to-wall, corner or whirlpool, to suit your project.

Every tub is made from acrylic, a material that resists knocks and scratches, is lightweight and easy to maintain. Available in oval, round or rectangular shapes depending on the model.

Every Spalina model comes with a 2-year guarantee and is delivered free within 6 working days across most of Europe (a surcharge may apply for island delivery).

Why choose a white bath?

White remains a safe choice for a bath: its neutral colour fits into any bathroom style, whether modern, retro or minimalist, and gives a sense of brightness that visually enlarges the space. It's also a flexible choice if your decor changes over time, without needing to replace the fixture.

Available configurations

Spalina offers white baths in every configuration. The freestanding bath, placed freely, embodies elegance the most and becomes a genuine centrepiece in the bathroom. The back-to-wall version rests against a wall to save space while keeping this look. The corner model optimises space in smaller rooms. And the whirlpool version adds a massage system — Jets, Wave or Bulle — turning the bath into a more advanced relaxation moment; every whirlpool model is tested for 4 hours under real conditions before shipping.

Available shapes

Depending on the model, these white baths come in oval, round or rectangular shapes, to suit your bathroom project and the available space.

A material built to last

All our white baths are made from acrylic. This material offers an excellent balance of looks, comfort and durability: a smooth, lightweight surface, good heat retention for the water, good resistance to knocks and scratches, and easy day-to-day upkeep.

Installation, step by step

Installing a white bath generally follows the same steps as any other model: preparing the floor, adjusting the feet height, making the plumbing connections (drain, waste system, taps), then finishing touches. Once installed, allow 24 hours before first use. We recommend calling in a professional for this installation.

Maintenance tips

To keep your white bath looking its best, clean it regularly with a mild product suited to acrylic surfaces, and avoid abrasive sponges. A mix of water and white vinegar can help remove limescale. Rinsing and drying the bath after each use also limits water marks.

What guarantees does Spalina offer ?

For whirlpool baths, every model is tested for 4 hours in water before dispatch — a systematic step in our specifications that guarantees the correct operation of the entire hydraulic and electrical system before the bath leaves our warehouse.

What is a freestanding bath ?

A freestanding bath — also known as a standalone or freestanding bathtub — is a model that sits freely in the bathroom, without being fixed to a wall. Finished on all sides, it becomes the centrepiece of the room.

Unlike a built-in bath, installation is straightforward : no tiling around it, no panel to fix. It rests on its own feet or an integrated base. At Spalina, all our freestanding baths are made from premium acrylic, available in several shapes — oval, rectangular, round or asymmetric — and in several finishes : gloss white, matte black, matte grey.

Not to be confused with the semi-freestanding bath, which keeps the look of a freestanding model while leaning against a wall — the ideal solution for more compact bathrooms.

How to maintain your bath ?

Maintaining an acrylic bath is straightforward as long as you use the right products. The golden rule : never use abrasive products, scouring pads or acetone-based cleaners — they will permanently scratch the surface.

For white and gloss finishes : a mild, non-abrasive cleaner diluted in lukewarm water is all you need. Rinse with clean water and dry with a soft cloth to avoid limescale marks. A weekly clean is enough to keep the finish looking its best.

For matte finishes (black, grey, blue Tiff, orange H) : matte finishes are more sensitive to limescale marks and fingerprints. Use a cleaner specifically designed for matte surfaces, without wax or polish. Always dry with a microfibre cloth after each use.

For whirlpool baths : after each use, run the system empty for 2 to 3 minutes with clean water to rinse the jets and the hydraulic circuit. Once a month, run a cleaning cycle with a specialist whirlpool cleaner to remove limescale deposits from the pipes. Never use foaming products in a whirlpool while it is running.

What are the benefits of a bath ?

A bath offers what a shower cannot replace : a moment of complete relaxation, with the body immersed in warm water at 36-38°C. Regular bathing helps release muscle tension, reduce stress and promote better sleep. It is also the most practical option for families with young children.

With a whirlpool bath, the benefits are amplified : water jets or air bubbles massage the body deeply, for a spa-like experience at home. With a freestanding bath, it is also a strong decorative asset that adds value to the bathroom. For tighter spaces, a corner bath or a semi-freestanding bath allow you to enjoy these benefits without sacrificing space.

All Spalina baths are made from premium acrylic — a soft, lightweight material that retains the heat of the water well.

How do you know if your bathtub is acrylic?

To tell if a bathtub is made of acrylic, touch it. If it's made of this material, it will feel warm and slightly flexible. Acrylic does retain heat well.

Additionally, this type of bathtub offers a smooth, glossy or matte surface depending on the finish. Another clue is weight. Acrylic bathtubs are lighter than those made of metal or cast iron. Finally, when tapping gently, you'll notice a quieter sound compared to other materials.

Which bath is the most comfortable ?

There is no universal answer — comfort depends on your height, how you use the bath, and the space available. That said, several criteria make a real difference : interior length, basin depth, backrest shape and material.

For length, allow at least 170 cm if you are 5'9" or taller — our 170 cm baths and 180 cm baths allow full immersion. For depth, freestanding oval baths are generally deeper than standard built-in models. For massage, a whirlpool bath adds an incomparable relaxation dimension — toning water jets or enveloping air bubbles depending on the system chosen. For two people, our 2-person baths offer generous space with moulded ergonomic seating.

In all cases, the acrylic used in all Spalina baths guarantees a soft touch and excellent heat retention — two factors that extend the pleasure of your bath.

How do I hook up my whirlpool bathtub?

When it comes to connecting your whirlpool bathtub to a power supply, we strongly recommend hiring an experienced electrician. If, however, you feel comfortable handling installation on your own, you’ll need to connect the three conductors of the power cable to an IPX5 junction box. Each conductor should be connected to its corresponding terminal. Brown is phase, blue is neutral and yellow/green is earth.
